The 2026-2027 concert season is upon us! As we prepare to celebrate our 63rd season of musical
excellence, we look to our community to assist us in continuing to provide musical entertainment. We
are seeking support from local businesses and community members through advertisements in our
season concert programs. By advertising in our printed programs and on our website, you can reach
local patrons in Royal Oak and the surrounding cities while supporting the arts in our community.
 

We are the Royal Oak Concert Band (ROCB), an 80+ member ensemble of aspiring professional and
serious amateur musicians from across the metropolitan Detroit area. Our jazz ensemble, the
Woodward Avenue Jazz Orchestra (WAJO), has 20+ members. We are a non-profit organization of
volunteers who play for the love of music. Each year, ROCB and WAJO perform at four ticketed indoor
concerts in the Dondero Auditorium at Royal Oak Middle School (October, December, March, and May)
as well as multiple free outdoor summer concerts in city parks and local community gatherings. This
season, WAJO and ROCB are hosting an additional indoor ticketed concert in November to celebrate
Veteran’s Day and America’s 250th anniversary. WAJO and ensembles of ROCB members make
additional appearances at public and private events throughout the year.
 

Our advertising packages range in price from $100 to $500. All options include four 2026-2027
seasonal passes to our regular season indoor concerts. In addition to handing out 200+ paper copies
of the program at each concert, a digital copy will be posted on the ROCB website and Facebook
page. Funds raised by advertisements and sponsorships will be used to purchase musical
compositions, equipment, pay staff stipends, and cover operating costs for our community band.
 

Deadline: Advertisement order form, artwork, and payment is due by:
- October 3rd to be included in all five concert programs (October, November, December, March, May)
- December 1st to be included in remaining three concert programs (December, March, May)

donors, ticketed paying patrons, and your valued monetary support. We hope you will find value in
